What is an account?

Each time you receive care or services at GVHS a new account is created which ties to a date of service, this includes lab or pathology specimens.

Bills and statements:

After you receive services, a monthly statement will be sent which includes:

• A summary of all accounts listing you as the guarantor.
• A statement identifying the amount pending from your insurance company and the self pay amount due.

An itemization may be obtained by calling our business office.

Some tests or treatments require services from a provider who bill you separately; examples include neurologist, cardiologist, oncologist, and other specialists. If you have questions about these charges, please call the number printed on their statement.
