Surgical Services

World-class surgical services come from a world-class team. Grand View’s board-certified surgeons, physicians, anesthesiologists, certified operating room technologists, and nurses provide excellent care for inpatient and outpatient surgeries and procedures.

Since 1970 Grand View Health System has been providing surgical services to the area. Our 7,600-square-foot surgical department, opened in 1992, offers three fully equipped major operating rooms, with a fourth operating room ready for future growth. Two additional rooms are available for the minimally invasive surgical procedures known as endoscopies. Surgical services available at Grand View include:

• General surgery
• Orthopedic surgery
• Complete anesthesia services
• ENT (ear/nose/throat) procedures
• Podiatry procedures
• C-sections
• Vascular surgeries
• Pain control treatments
• Ophthalmologic surgeries
• Gynecological surgeries
• Minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic, endoscopic, and other procedures
• Cardiology procedures (ultrasounds of the heart)
• Urologic surgeries

Hospital auxiliary members staff our comfortable waiting area, providing an important link between the family and the operating room. They can answer your questions and relay messages on progress from the operating room. The goal is to keep families informed throughout the process.
